I bought this gorgeous antique satchel in the sunny South of France in a brocante (antiques market) The bag closes with a front turn lock. The leather is strong and supple. There was a little surprise left inside from the original owner….a memorial mass invite (in french) from 1905!! Also a cute hand stitched leather wallet.

The delicious tan leather is soft and supple. It closes with 2 ornate clasps locks on the gold frame, it has 3 large inner sections, an inner zipper pocket and 2inner slip pockets. The bag has a small tear on the leather on the frame, as seen in picture number 2.

The inside of the bag is lined with a black fabric. Small inside pocket with a zipper. Aside from the main compartment there is a second pocket on the front to two buckles. Has an adjustable shoulder strap. This bag is in excellent vintage condition.
